RED HOUSE opens Red Academy to train educators

Teacher training now counts on a digital course platform that allows greater interaction and exchange of materials, knowledge and experience

RED HOUSE annually promotes professional training courses for teachers, coordinators and principals. With the RED HOUSE Professional Development Program, the idea is to enable the improvement of the current teaching teams of the network, in addition to the training of new school employees.

The entire teaching team goes through an immersion on relevant topics related to the adaptation of new students, structure of research topics, bilingual literacy, STEM, among others. The structure of the RED HOUSE curriculum and how it is put into practice in the classroom are also topics covered in depth during training.

In 2023, the training program had a special novelty: the launch of RED Academy. Planned since the beginning of 2022 and focused on the socio-emotional and professional development of educators, the new RED HOUSE educational platform for continuing education offers an online course program, which promotes the culture, values and curriculum structure of the school.

During the two weeks of training held in January, the new tool enabled greater interaction between employees from different campuses and teachers of various age groups with the use of forums, chats, file sharing, experience exchange and best practices.

Research and Development investments

RED Academy’s content is developed in partnership by two teams of expert author educators: the RED Lab, RED HOUSE’s educational research and development department; and the RED LED (Learning Experience Design), which together keep the school’s transdisciplinary curriculum an evidence-based learning journey in constant improvement and innovation.

Education for all with new digital platform Red Academy

In addition to the teaching team, during this immersion period, the courses were also made available to all the school’s employees, including all the administrative areas, so that the employees could take advantage of the content and specialize in the field of education.

Soon, all RED HOUSE Professional Development courses will be available on RED Academy for on-demand access anytime, anywhere, by any school employee.

The RED Academy will also receive more courses throughout the year, becoming a hub of knowledge and continuing education. The themes will be developed in response to new demands from the pedagogical team.
