Red House participates in Educa Week 2022
RED HOUSE was present at the latest edition of Educa Week, the biggest event on elementary education in Brazil, which took place in October in São Paulo.
In its 7th edition, Educa Week brought together more than 150 leaders from the educational sector in Brazil and abroad, with the participation of special guests such as Dr. Rona Hu, psychiatrist and professor at Stanford University, and the president of the Organization of Bilingual Schools (OEBi), Kevin Sorger.
The congress brings together the best schools in the country and encourages the sharing of successful practices that have generated real changes in the school environment, discussing the challenges and pointing paths and solutions for education in Brazil.
RED HOUSE joins a panel
Liamara Montagner Salamani, Portuguese Language Specialist at RED HOUSE, represented the school at Educa Week.
She participated in the panel “Bilingual schools, international schools, and translingualism: what perspectives and methodologies are being discussed for a global education?” alongside Kevin Sorger, president of the Organization of Bilingual Schools (OEBi), and other educators.
Lia talked about the importance of teacher improvement courses, valuing the continuing education of education professionals. “By participating in this congress, as a representative of RED HOUSE, I could get in touch with several education leaders and get to know the latest studies and tools related to international bilingual education in the country and in the world,” she says.
