Family Day brings together Early Childhood Education parents, children and teachers
Parents, students and teachers gathered in person for a Family Day, a traditional RED HOUSE event that allows families to experience a day in the school routine of Early Childhood Education students.
On the Pacaembu campus, Toddlers’ families attended a class meeting and created calming bottles, while K3 students did modeling activities related to the unit of inquiry “Animals”. And after reading the book “It’s Ok to Be Different”, K4 parents talked about unique particularities that characterize them, and with their children took part in a drawing activity from a unit of inquiry called Amazing Me.
On the Villa-Lobos campus, Toddlers’ families played in the park and then created door hangers to differentiate night and day, and also attended a class meeting. On the Pacaembu campus, K3 classes did modeling activities related to the unit of inquiry “Animals”.
After reading the book “It’s Ok to Be Different”, K4 parents and students created a family cloud together to represent what the family enjoys doing together the most.
K5 classes from both campuses, after reading the book “The Way I Feel”, immersed themselves in the Feelings and Communication unit of inquiry by making a “feelings doll” using balloons and flour.
We thank all families for their participation and engagement in the events! It was great to have you here!
