RED HOUSE student has bill approved by the São Paulo City Council
Year 8 student was one of the winners of the 2023 Middle Years Youth Parliament
Student Ian, who is in Year 8 at Higienópolis Campus , participated in the Middle Years Youth Parliament 2023 project at the São Paulo City Council and was one of the approved!
In this activity, students were challenged to submit a bill to the São Paulo Legislature written along the lines established by the Council and thinking about solutions to the city’s problems.
Ian’s bill was focused on benefiting the city’s low-income population with free access to public transport.
On November 10th, he presented the proposal in a Plenary Session in the Chamber for councilors, which was also broadcasted live on the house’s official YouTube channel.
